Consider employees, create a human-centered office space

In addition to meeting the overall goals of aesthetics, economy, practicality, and safety, offices need to have a complete and clear reasonable plan for the office environment. A convenient and humanized office environment can have a positive impact on employees' physical and psychological well-being, bringing them convenience in their work. In a humanized office space, office furniture may no longer be the rigid, unchanging old style. The office environment also needs to properly handle the relationship between the privacy of office spaces and public spaces. Therefore, the following points should also be noted.

1. Office Floor
The office floor needs to be sufficiently level during office renovation. If it is not level, it will affect the office after renovation. Uneven areas should be leveled with 1:3 cement mortar, or self-leveling cement can also be used. This allows for the next step of office floor renovation. Related to the floor is the routing of cable trenches. It is important to pay attention to the depth and width of the cable trenches, as insufficient dimensions can also cause the floor to be uneven after placing conduits, leading to rework.


2. Office Ceiling
Regardless of whether asbestos board or mineral fiber board is chosen for the office ceiling, it must be suspended with screw rods to ensure durability; suspending with iron wire is absolutely not allowed. The building is equipped with central air conditioning and a fresh air system, but the indoor air outlets may not necessarily meet the requirements. The renovation company needs to commission professionals to extend or modify the air outlets, and the ceiling project needs to cooperate.

3. Network Cabling
In office network cabling, all wires that need to be run through conduits must use steel pipes, not the common PVC pipes seen in home decoration. The junction boxes must also be iron boxes. While PVC might technically work, the requirement is for steel pipes and iron boxes. After office furniture is installed, strong and weak current wiring needs to be installed in each workstation along with the office partitions. Wires should not be left disorganized, as this can lead to safety and usage hazards.
